Accessibility
Part of our mission is to create and support radical accessibility, which extends to our website and other digital offerings. We chose Squarespace for its commitment to accessibility, especially for people who lack website-building skills. We use as much plain language as possible, always use alt text, and choose accessible color combinations and fonts for our branding, created by Works of Anomaly. We also try to practice language justice by providing Spanish translations whenever capacity allows.
As an entirely volunteer-run organization, we rely on the generosity of peers for website support, as we lack internal expertise. As such, we may be unable to implement accessibility changes as quickly as we’d like; please know it’s a priority.
If you experience any accessibility-related issues on our website, contact CleanAirNebraska@gmail.com. We’ll be glad to learn how we can improve!
In the future, we hope to create a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) and publish an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for our website. We will do our best to update our website to adhere to WCAG's best practices. Thank you for your patience as we learn and grow!
